Nepotism
What is Nepotism?
Embezzlement in opportunities, Destroying talented careers, Personal relationships. Nepotism can also be known as favoritism and this contamination has its roots in every field of life, It has destroyed many careers took the lives of many positive and passionate people.
In Pakistan nepotism has much stronger roots and has spread out to Sports, Entertainment, Govt Jobs, Army everything. It's not just about supporting your child/relative it's about stealing something someone else deserved an opportunity one worked hard for years to claim.
Discrimination is never fair, its a killer in fact. Nepotism in places of power is a killer.
Politics and Nepotism.
Nepotism is into our system from many years, Even when there is a hiring of a peon. Govt sectors are full of this abominable malady and almost every day a young passionate lad is losing his will power to struggle and endeavor for the betterment of state. And the most disturbing part of this sequence is that nobody wants to stand against this culture but in fact everybody wants to be a part of it. In every govt nepotism pursuits its way, Recently Sindh govt through a notification posted Zia-ur-Rehman an officer of KPK provincial management services. In grade-19 as a deputy commissioner of Karachi's central district by transferring Farhan Ghani an ex PCS officer. Nepotism won again as Fazul ur Rehman's brother got preferred over a PCS officer.Zia-ur-Rehman and Fazul-ur-Rehman |
Politically nepotism is much stronger than compared to other fields, Because of the mafia inside plying political games and obviously nobody can question this hypnotic politics because someone has their peace with Bhutto some has their peace with Bacha Khan and some has their peace with Islam but nobody tries to find out what actually is said by them who they mentor? What did they say and what limitations were told to follow? Nationalism, Patriotism, Extremism all of them when are in excess helps negatively for the corrupt!
Entertainment and Nepotism.
In the entertainment industry we can see many examples of nepotism and even some people use their family in a way to get fame and some of them use their sisters for crying out loud!
If we talk about some quite famous figures Asim Azhar is the first name that pops up into my head when I discuss nepotism because today whatever he is it's because of his family having a firm background in the entertainment industry.

Raamis (Rapper) |
And the next crime these culprits make is instead of supporting an underrated fellow artist they support those from whom they do not feel insecure for example a lad from Lahore called Raamis. This lad is also a nepotistic product trying to get fame under the shadow of Asim and also trying to utilize the fame of his sister Meerab an Instagram model. This is how the system in Pakistan is working and are calling it progressive improvement.
Until Pakistan is in the warp of nepotism and such talent-less people are coming in-front and those who actually deserves to praise are getting crushed this industry can never make any positive progress and will keep on moving in a circle of no improvement.
Nepotism is like father supporting his talent-less child to get stable by stealing someone else's deserved position, But our people are so unethical instead of standing tall against such cultures they try their very best to become a part of it everybody wants their daddy to support them nobody wants to struggle and earn by himself with such state of behavior I do not see this country moving any forward in fact we could go downwards because those people are coming in front who can't work can't struggle and requires only help or spends money and get their job done! And this is not how countries develop.
Fathers giving charge to their unethical children of business politics and even getting them movies and projects depending on the field and this is how talent is wasted and when the same talent moves outside the country and starts working for another country where his struggle is actually encouraged and appreciated then the patriot inside us wakes up and asks questions why did he not served his own country instead of working for others? He's a traitor and blah! blah! blah!
One will never know what those talented traitors have been through while working in their own country because we were sleeping under the shadow of this malady (Nepotism) and we wanted to be a part of it instead of standing against it.
